  Our Vision

Creation of a better society based on Gospel and human values and transformation of people’s life especially of the tribals, dalits and other marginalized section of people.

Our Mission

Sharing the Good News with all and empowering the tribals, dalits and other marginalised groups through our ministries in educational, social, cultural, economic, political fields.

Our Target Groups

The Jesuits have been working for a holistic development of the poor and the deprived people without excluding the people from other classes. All people are cared for but the poor and the deprived get preference as Jesuits emphasise on a ‘preferential option for the poor’. The most deprived and poor people in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh states in India are the tribals and Dalits. There are many tribal groups and Dalits in the area with diverse cultures, religious practices, and socio-economic and socio-cultural status. They have often been untouched by the development initiatives of the government. Of late they are used and misused by the political leaders to get votes for selfish motives. The tribals and dalits are deprived of a quality education as government is making them just literate not educated.

Therefore, the target people of Madhya Pradesh Jesuits are Tribals and Dalits irrespective of castes, tribe and religion.
